This quantitative study aims to collect perceptions, desires, preferences, fears facing a potential need to give or receive care.

In the process of drafting this LETTER, a quantitative methodology has been incorporated by conducting an online questionnaire that has collected the opinions of 4,785 people, divided into two distinct groups: General population and Professionals.

The division into two groups serves to collect intragroup comparisons in this area in a standardised way.
