59th SEGG Congress: "Ageing and chronicity: an opportunity for prevention and innovation".

Under the slogan "Ageing and chronicity: an opportunity for prevention and innovation", the 59th SEGG Congress will be held from 7 to 9 June 2017 at the Palacio de Congresos in A Coruña.

Chronicity in its many aspects and disciplines is a challenge for all of us who are dedicated to the world of care for the elderly. At the same time, this challenge can be transformed into an exceptional opportunity to undertake measures that lead us to prevent situations of loss of autonomy or to alleviate them if they already exist. This meeting is the right time to address everything that, hand in hand with change, innovation and new systems and technologies, can lead to an improvement in the care of the elderly.
