The development of care approaches centred on people's wishes and autonomy entails the need for resources and strategies that promote it. At Matia and ACP Gerontology we wanted to contribute to the establishment of good practices applicable either in the home or in social and healthcare centres, with the publication of two new materials that are part of the project "Routes for the Advancement of Person-Centred Care".

El desarrollo de enfoques de atención centrados en los deseos y autonomía de las personas conlleva la necesidad de recursos y estrategias que lo promuevan. Desde Matia y ACP Gerontología hemos querido contribuir a instaurar buenas praxis aplicables, bien en el hogar, bien en centros sociosanitarios, con la publicación de dos nuevos materiales que se enmarcan en el proyecto “Rutas de Avance de la Atención Centrada en la Persona”.

10 years of Euskadi Lagunkoia

The next 29 June will be the event to celebrate the 10 years of Euskadi Lagunkoia's trajectory. It will review the experiences and milestones achieved during 10 years of journey and friendliness.

The event, which will be held in Tabakalera, will be attended by personalities such as the lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu, Beatriz Artozabal, Gorka Urtaran and the acclaimed actress Loli Astoreka.

10 años de Euskadi Lagunkoia

El próximo 29 de junio será el evento donde se celebrarán los 10 años de trayectoria de Euskadi Lagunkoia. Se repasarán las experiencias y los hitos logrados durante 10 años de camino y amigabilidad.

A la jornada, que será en Tabakalera, asistirán personalidades como el lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu, Beatriz Artozabal, Gorka Urtaran y la consagrada actriz Loli Astoreka.

Dissemination day of the results of the QAVAD project

"Living with Meaning" - 10 years advancing in person-centred care

This year marks a decade since the beginning of the transformation of the care model in our homes.

An itinerary that began with a project initiated with the Basque Government, and which has brought with it the adoption of a new way of understanding care linked to aspects such as respect for dignity and personal autonomy, the promotion of capabilities from the meaningful and the everyday, the personalization of care under the figure of the professional of reference or the strengthening of life with the communities in which the centers are located.
