Conference: Tools for well-being throughout life. The programme " Getting to know emotions".

During this day we will address the importance of developing psychological resources for emotional management in order to promote good ageing.

"Getting to know emotions" was co-designed with older people, tested, validated and implemented in three editions in the Espacios +60 of Afundación, in collaboration with the Matia Institute.

On Wednesday 12 July 2023, EAPN-ES is organising the forum "Older people and essential services: the case of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities", from 11:00 to 12:30.

Access to essential services and participation of the elderly are two elements that, despite being recognised as rights and included in the regulatory and legal framework at national, European and international levels, do not always have all the guarantees in their enjoyment and access.

Course of the specific and on-demand training programme: Older Adults and Quality of Life. Unwanted loneliness in older adults

The course, aimed at both professionals and students of the USC, "Elderly and Quality of Life: unwanted loneliness in older adults", is part of the specific training studies and on demand organised by the Centre of Own Studies of the USC and is organised by the Red Cross Chair. These studies are oriented to continuous training, aimed at specific groups, in this case, with knowledge, experience and interest in gerontological intervention.

Conference: Loneliness, ageing and gender

The conference "Loneliness, ageing and gender" is organised by the gerontology research group of the University of Barcelona and aims to reflect on the diversity of situations of unwanted loneliness in older people and the impact of public policies in addressing them.

It will be held on Friday 19 November from 9 a.m. at the Palau Macaya in Barcelona (Pg. de Sant Joan, 108).
