Currently, many of these services for people with greater support needs are provided in large institutions and the aim of the future Strategy is precisely to try to promote services that enable people to live independently and autonomously in their family, social and community environment.

The future Strategy for De-institutionalisation and development of community support services aims to prioritise personalised care in the community.

Dialogue with experts on the issues they believe should be prioritised in the future strategy.

16:00h. KEYS FOR CHANGE: INNOVATION, RESEARCH AND NEW PUBLIC POLICIES

This session will present some of the key issues and trends in social policies, with special emphasis on innovative and transformative aspects. Different institutions and organisations will participate and will be able to contribute a complementary vision: an institutional view, a vision from the academic sphere and a more pragmatic approach based on practice.

17:00h. KEYS FOR CHANGE: CHANGING THE CARE AND SUPPORT MODEL

In this session we will learn about the changes that are being proposed or implemented in the autonomous communities in the model of care and support.
