Pamplona will bring together the best specialists in geriatrics and social and biological gerontology, both national and international, to talk about what matters to everyone: how to age better and how we can all work together to achieve it.

Among the participants are two colleagues and researchers from Matia Institute. On Friday 9 June, Gloria Domínguez will present the results of a study on "Growing old well in the Basque Country: a qualitative approach", which points to the need for public policies on prevention, especially in terms of care, which promote reflection and planning in accordance with the personal life project.

For his part, Álvaro García will participate on Thursday with a paper entitled: "Theory of change in a project for the coordination of services from psychological support for carers of people with dementia". Álvaro will also act as moderator at a panel of papers from the Social Area.
