Improving monitoring and support for people with financial assistance for dependency and their caretakers

The Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and the municipalities of Arrasate and Irun, with technical assistance from the Matia Gerontological Institute have been developing a pilot tracking experience for people who receive financial assistance for dependency. The aim was to define a methodology useful for monitoring for social services in primary care and to test it through home visits in a sample of actual cases, making conclusions to improve the guarantee of good care of people and support for their caregivers.
