Manos de una persona mayor amasando una masa

Publication that brings together more than 50 recipes from residents of the Bermingham center of Matia Fundazioa. A project developed in 2013 that was born from the implementation in Matia centers of a model of person-centered care, which places among its pillars the recognition and defense of the dignity of every human being. The model reminds us that every person by the mere fact of being a person deserves to be recognized and respected at all stages of his or her life, including in old age, a stage in which it seems that plans for the future are put aside.

The model also tells us that the activities we do should be meaningful, that they should start from the everyday and be based on their life story. There are few things more meaningful than food and the memories we associate with it, mostly from parties, celebrations, and, of course, the day-to-day life of a household.

This book is intended to be a recognition to all its protagonists, a way of thanking them for all those moments lived around a table with a good meal.
