11th EFEKEZE Conference: ‘adding excellence to the rhythm of the waves’.

On 30 January 2025, the city of Donostia / San Sebastián will host a conference organised by the Scientific Society of Family and Community Nursing of the Basque Country (EFEKEZE) and hosted by the Gipuzkoa College of Nursing.

Under the slogan: ‘adding excellence to the rhythm of the waves’, the event aims to provide a meeting point for Family and Community Nurses where they can reflect on their daily work, exchange experiences and update their knowledge. A work that, like the waves of the sea, with their waxing and waning, represents the idea that life is in constant movement and change, and that each wave is unique and transitory. The waves of the sea are powerful and can be imposing, especially during a storm, as is our speciality.

Among the participants, our colleague and researcher at Matia Institute, Juan Albarrán, will take part in a round table discussion on the Lagunkoia Pharmacy initiative, and how to promote community health through participatory processes such as this one.
