Conference organised by Cáritas Gipuzkoa, in collaboration with the Pío XII Institute, in which specialists in the field will address the issue of the fragilities that we may experience throughout our lives and how community environments help us to deal with them. We can ask ourselves, then, about the relationship between our fragilities and our social relationships. The more community we live in, the less fragility we feel?

9:15h Keynote speech: "Facing fragilities, strengthening the Community" (Imanol Zubero, Dr. in Sociology and lecturer at the UPV)
10:15h Dialogue with Imanol Zubero.
10:45-12:15h Round table: "Fragilities throughout life". Participants:

  • Elderly people. Mari Carmen Garmendia (President of the Board of Trustees of Matia).
  • Children. Elena Ayarza. Head of the Office for Childhood and Adolescence (Ararteko).
  • Youth and Adolescence. Elena Aycart. Social educator: street education (Kabia Association).

12:45h Dialogue conversation, "Keys and tools that strengthen the community: trust, proximity and everyday life" with Adriana Martínez (APTES, Association for the Promotion of Social Technology).
