Third International Congress on Home Care

The home care conference is a permanent forum for innovation and new technologies in social services promoted by the Fuenlabrada City Council, the National Distance Education University, and the State Association of Social Services Directors and Managers.

The event showcases new models of home care, tools, technologies and working methods that enable people who wish to do so to remain living in their own homes for as long as possible.

Maider Azurmendi, Director of Home and Community Care at Matia, will participate to talk about ‘Homes for life’ and share the experience of an innovative form of accommodation called Lugaritz.

The same event will feature SHARE, a proposal from Fuenlabrada City Council, with the participation of Matia Instituto, which aims to revitalise community life by creating new accessible living environments for two specific groups: older people and young people, based on the principles of inclusion, transdisciplinarity, sustainability, beauty and circularity.
