Mental health is vital at all stages of life, from childhood to old age. However, needs and challenges change over the years and often do not receive the attention they deserve. With this idea as a starting point, Agifes will hold a conference entitled “Mental health, aging, and the elderly,” a meeting to reflect on how serious mental health problems tend to accelerate premature aging and how to adapt care resources to this reality.

La salud mental es vital en todas las etapas de la vida, desde la infancia hasta la vejez. Sin embargo, las necesidades y retos cambian con los años y, a menudo, no reciben la atención que merecen. Con esta idea como punto de partida, Agifes celebrará la jornada “Salud mental, envejecimiento y personas mayores”, un encuentro para reflexionar sobre cómo los problemas de salud mental grave tienden a acelerar el envejecimiento prematuro y sobre cómo adaptar los recursos de atención a esta realidad.
