1st Congress on Home Care - Towards Comprehensive, Person-Centred Care

Matia will participate in the First CLAROS Congress on Home Care, an interdisciplinary meeting that seeks to create a space for reflection and analysis on the current model of care in the Home Help Service (SAD). The Congress, promoted by CLAROS, SCA de Interés Social, aims to promote dialogue between the different agents involved in the sector —service providers, public administrations, social agents, professionals, users and their families— to advance towards organisational models that favour comprehensive, personalised and sustainable care.
Maider Azurmendi, head of community networks, will attend.
Programme:
- 9:00 am - 9:30 am. Reception of attendees and distribution of documentation.
- 9:30 am - 10:00 am. Opening. Presentation and brief summary of the day's programme by the Director General of CLAROS.
- 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Conference: Ms. Teresa Martínez Rodríguez. Psychologist. Gerontologist and Doctor of Health Sciences. Expert in Long-Term Care and Person-Centred Care.
- 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Coffee break.
- 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Lecture: Ms. Maider Azurmendi Ormazabal. Head of Community Networks at MATIA.
- 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Technical round table on current challenges in the home help sector. A space for reflection involving various stakeholders and experts in home care services. Chaired by Ms Sandra Pinzón Pulido, lecturer at the Andalusian School of Public Health.
- 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Closing session. Time for questions and contributions from the audience.
