 Type: Congress

RESP 2021

On 15, 16 and 17 March 2021, Bilbao will host the eighth congress of the Spanish Social Policy Network, jointly organised by the University of the Basque Country and the University of Deusto, with the collaboration of Sareen Sarea and the SIIS Documentation and Studies Centre of the Eguía Careaga Foundation and within the framework of Espanet, the European Network for Social Policy Analysis, the meeting brings together various relevant agents in the construction, implementation and evaluation of public strategies for the protection and promotion of citizens' well-being.

The theme of the meeting is "Caring for life, guaranteeing inclusion, living together in diversity", dedicating space to these three aspects: care, inclusion and diversity, and which raises the following questions: What do we know that works with a sufficient evidence base; what shared values are we not going to give up; what conceptual consensus do we consider to have been achieved; what priority challenges do we need to address?
