Support in designing the new ‘Basque Strategy for Older People’
Proyectos
This work aims to support the Basque Government in designing the new Strategy from a comprehensive, diverse, accessible, personalised and participatory approach. A response that incorporates the full life approach, which includes promoting the autonomy and social participation of older people, as well as care for people in situations of or at risk of dependency, and focuses on a society for all ages based on intergenerational solidarity.
The work of the Matia Institute team, together with the team from the Directorate for Support for a Full Life, will focus on these aspects, as well as on linking the strategy with other diagnostic and planning processes in the field. In addition, all the information analysed and compiled during the evaluation process of the ‘Basque Strategy for Older People 2021-2024’ will be taken into account.
This Strategy will be aligned with all the strategies, plans and programmes developed within the framework of intergenerational solidarity by the Department of Welfare, Youth and Demographic Challenge.
Objective: To design the new ‘Basque Strategy for Older People’.
Methodology: In order to draw up the proposal for the new Strategy, a work process will be carried out, which will consist of the following tasks:
