Monitoring and evaluation of the Basque Strategy for Older People 2026–2029

The Basque Strategy for Older People 2026–2029 sets out strategic priorities for action, around which various activities are carried out within the flagship projects associated with it. In order to monitor the progress of the projects and evaluate the implementation of these actions, the project MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF THE BASQUE STRATEGY FOR OLDER PEOPLE 2026-2029 has been launched in collaboration with the Basque Government through the Department of Welfare, Youth and Demographic Challenge.

The aim of this project is to monitor the implementation and development of the Strategy to maximise its impact. To achieve this, monitoring indicators will be agreed for the flagship projects in relation to the Strategy’s objectives and strategic priorities. In addition, annual reports will be produced analysing the progress of these indicators and identifying opportunities or challenges that affect the roll-out of the Strategy. These reports will help assess possible additional actions or the incorporation of new projects that contribute to achieving the objectives set out in the Strategy.
