Housing management solutions with services for the elderly

One of the main challenges facing today's social and healthcare systems is caring for an increasingly ageing population. It is estimated that, in our immediate context, the number of people over 65 will double in the coming years. Despite ageing and the frailty that can come with the passage of time, we should not give up the possibility of continuing to live independently with the necessary support.
The aim of the conference is to highlight different models of assisted living that are already operating successfully in Catalonia and the rest of Spain, as well as to share what aspects need to be taken into account for their viability and sustainability, both economically and socially, in order to extend these models throughout the territory.
Our colleague, Maider Azurmendi, will share with those present the experience of the Lugaritz assisted living model.
