The State Reference Centre for Personal Autonomy and Technical Aids (Ceapat) of the Imserso in Madrid is organising the first edition of the "Accessibility by Right" webinars to be held from 4 to 8 October 2021, from 16:00 to 18:30.

For the organisation of the webinars, Ceapat has the collaboration of the Ibero-American Social Security Organisation and the Network of Ibero-American Centres for Personal Autonomy and Technical Aids (Ciapat) located in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia.

The aim of these seminars is to provide a space for meeting, information and debate on current issues related to the promotion of personal autonomy, accessibility, technologies and public services for all people. This year the following challenges will be addressed: accessibility and technology in the post-COVID-19 context, delving into their implicit role in the change of care model, the deinstitutionalisation of the elderly and people with disabilities, person-centred care and gender equality.

Five two-hour webinars will be organised over five consecutive days, with a 15-minute break in between. Representatives from different public, private and civil organisations will present and discuss the above-mentioned challenges.
