A new report by the Government of Navarre's Observatory of the Social Reality of Navarre offers five axes for the construction of a future long-term care system.

  • Key point 1. Reinforcing comprehensive and personalised care for the elderly.
  • Key point 2. The need for a wide and flexible range of resources.
  • Key point 3. Improving the working conditions of carers.
  • Key point 4. Planning, evaluation and financing as central elements for the improvement of the system.
  • Key point 5. Caring societies

A valuable material in which different experts have participated, such as our colleague and researcher at Matia Institute, Sara Marsillas, who together with Mayte Sancho, tackle aspects related to longevity and the care needs of ageing people in an ad hoc monograph.

This is a document whose general objective is to identify the needs and demands of people over 65 in relation to the care system in Navarre, and specifically to approach the care system from a territorial and gender perspective, characterising the key aspects and possible future trends in the care system in Navarre.

We encourage you to read it carefully.
