Gloria Domínguez Alegría

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid (2010) and a Master’s degree in Research Methodology in the Social Sciences (UCM, 2013).
She has pursued her professional career in various third sector organisations focusing on ageing, childhood, migration and other groups at risk of social exclusion. Specialising in mixed methodologies, she employs quantitative and qualitative approaches to conduct research applied to social intervention, programme evaluation, policy advocacy and raising public awareness.
She currently works as a researcher at Matia Institute, where she analyses the social reality of older people and care. She is the principal investigator of Biziaria, the Longitudinal Study on Longevity and Care in the Basque Country.
