RAPP is a 3-year research project (2013-2016) funded by the European Commission through its FP7 programme. The RAPP project will provide an open source software platform to support the creation and delivery of robotic applications.
Miren Iturburu Yarza: Licentiate in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country in 1989. Career as a specialist and researcher for the development and innovation of printing inks in private industry (Hunolt, S.A.). In 2007, she shifted her career towards the field of ageing. She specialises in Psychosocial Intervention in Gerontology, a course taught by the Matia Institute and Lahar Elkargoa in 2009, and in 2011 earned her Master's in Ageing at the University of Murcia. Since 2007, she has been working at the Matia Gerontological Institute as a researcher on issues related to the field of the elderly and on psychosocial disabilities. She participates in and coordinates research project both in Spain and throughout Europe of different sessions such as, SaveAge, Agnes, DM2, HiSozial, Frailtek, Tourism4all and RAPP.
