Nerea Almazán


Degree in Psychology from the Public University of the Basque Country in 2013, Official Master's Degree in Psychogerontology from the University of Barcelona in 2015 and other specialised training in Emotional Intelligence (2015), Systemic Therapy (2017-2018), Bereavement Intervention (2021) and Sex Education (2021). She has worked in different centres for the elderly and residential centres in the Bidasoaldea area (Gipuzkoa), as well as a psychologist in respite programmes for carers (2016). In 2016 and 2017 she worked as a municipal technician for the elderly in Irun, carrying out management and research activities.

She is currently working at Matia Instituto as coordinator of projects to transform models of Social Centres for the Elderly (Helduak Zabaltzen and Convive Centres) and is responsible for accompanying the sexuality of people in the Matia Fundazioa Centres.
